Between opening a new side business, Christmas time, commissioned projects, church projects and just every day life, I have been swamped. Thanksgiving went sliding so smoothly by and then December happened. From the day we got back from our Kentucky get away it has been go, go, go.

I have sold several items over in my Society6 shop, now. In case you haven’t been paying attention to my Instagram, Twitter or Facebook feeds, there’s been some sort of sale over there every day this week and I’m not sure if or when it is going to stop. So if you haven’t marked everyone off your Christmas list just yet, I say hurry on over and fill your Santa bag with awesomeness.

One of the most exciting things to happen as of late is the opening of my Etsy shop, Penelopy Paper. Right now its stocked with anytime illustrated cards and Christmas cards. It isn’t too late to grab a set for your paper loving friends or snag yourself some holiday cards to pass out in time for the Christmas. I read just earlier today that proper etiquette says its better to send Christmas cards late than not at all. Even if its in January. And if proper etiquette says so, then we must not disappoint, darling.

I must say, though, despite all the busyness I do believe I’m at the height of happiness in my professional life to date. Is that professional contentment I smell?

p.s. I have had an inquiry about mouse pads featuring my octopus illustration. I will likely be putting in an order soon, so do contact me ASAP if you are interested. Please and thank you.
